Steripen Pre-Filter (SP-PF). When clear water is not available, use the Water Bottle Pre-Filter by SteriPEN.
The Pre-Filter filters out particulates and debris. Fits on Nalgene and wide-mouth water bottles.

You can clean the Pre-filter in the field by rinsing it with a small amount of your treated water or by rinsing in a stream or under a tap.
